Emory University, a private research institution in Atlanta, has recently disclosed holdings worth $15.1 million in the Grayscale Bitcoin Mini Trust. This groundbreaking move by the prestigious university emphasizes a growing acceptance of cryptocurrency investments within the academic sector.

The investment, detailed in a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, includes approximately 2.7 million shares of the Grayscale Bitcoin Mini Trust. In addition to this, Emory also reported ownership of 4,312 shares in Coinbase, valued at $768,269.
